Fr. Nicholas Manuel was born in Wilmington, Delaware. Youngest of 4, Fr. Nicholas spent his formative years in Richmond, Virginia. Father comes from a loving family whose life centered and revolved around Christ and His Church. The son of a priest, Fr. Nicholas grew up watching and learning from the example of his father, Fr. John (presiding priest in Virginia Beach, VA.).

Fr. Nicholas holds a Bachelors of Liberal Arts with a focus in Psychology. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2015. Afterwards, Fr. Nicholas attended Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston, Massachusetts.

While in Seminary, Fr. met his wife, Demetria. They now have 4 kids- John, Eleutheria, Sophronia, and Noah. In 2019, Fr. graduated with a Masters of Divinity seeking to serve the Church.

Soon after graduation, Fr. Nicholas was assigned as the assistant priest at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Akron, OH. on December 5th, 2019, Fr. Nicholas was ordained to the Diaconate . Several months later, Fr. Nicholas was ordained to the priesthood on March 15th, 2020.

After 6 beautiful years, Fr. Nicholas was assigned to Saint Nicholas, Lorain as the presiding priest. Fr. Nicholas began his ministry here on July 1st, 2025. Father Nicholas joyously serves this beautiful community striving to serve the Lord and His Vineyard as best he can.
